Meetings of  are  held in the Moxon Room, Cawthorne Village Hall, Tivydale, Cawthorne  S75 4EH

Cawthorne Parish Council meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month except April when the Annual Meeting of the Parish is held, May when the meeting is held on the 2nd Thursday, and September when there is no meeting. Meetings commence at 7.30pm.

The public have the opportunity to ask questions of the Council and Clerk at the beginning of the meeting.The public are not permitted to participate in the formal meeting of the Council, unless they have informed the Clerk by 12 noon the previous day that they wish to speak on a particular agenda item. Members of the public will be allowed to address the Council for no longer than three minutes.

 

Planning committee meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at 10am if planning applications are received, or as and when required.

The Budget and Finance committee meet on the first Wednesday in December, time to be arranged, to approve the Clerk’s proposed budget and agree a precept figure. Any other meetings are called as and when required.

The Footpath and Environment committee was disbanded in 2018.
