Annual Report

The Parish Council Annual Report was published and distributed throughout the Parish at the end of June. If readers who are residents of Cawthorne and have not yet received a copy of the report please contact either a Councillor or the Clerk.

Parish Council grants

The Council still has a limited amount available to award as grants to bona fide parish organisations in this financial year, ie year ending the 31st March 2012. Organisations are encouraged to apply. Please send any applications to the Clerk to the Council, details below.

Parish Council grants during the year 2012 – 2013

The Council’s Budget Committee will be considering applications for grants for the year 2012 – 2013 at it’s meeting in December this year. Bona Fide parish organisations are invited to apply for grants by sending written application letters to the Clerk to the Council. Grants are not available to individuals.

Overhanging vegetation

Overhanging vegetation is still causing problems for pedestrians throughout the village, in places being so bad that pedestrians are forced to walk on the road. Property owners are respectfully requested to cut back any overhanging bushes, trees, etc.

Next Meeting of the Parish Council

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Thursday 6th OCTOBER 2011, at 7.40 pm, in the Moxon Room, Village Hall. All parishioners are welcome, and are encouraged to attend at 7.30 pm.
