Annual Report
The Annual Report for the period 2006 – 2007 has now been distributed to all households. If you have not yet received a copy, please contact any Councillor or the Clerk to the Council.
Members of the public wishing to address the Parish Council
The Council has resolved that ‘a member of the public may address the Council for not more than three minutes on any item on the agenda for a meeting, provided that said member of the public has given notice in writing to the Clerk of the Council of the wish to address the Council by 7.30 pm on the day of the meeting.’ The agenda for Council meetings is now being displayed on the parish notice board when the Notice calling the meeting is displayed, i.e. at the end of the week before the meeting is held. Notice in writing may be hand delivered to the Clerk before 7.30pm on the evening of the meeting; or sent by e mail to cawthorneparishclerk@msn.com; or sent by post to:

Parish Council Meetings and Public Question Session
The following procedure to enable parishioners to address the Council came into effect from the July 2007 meeting of the Council. Councillors and the Clerk attend at 7.30 pm as per usual practice; members of the public who are in attendance allowed to ask questions of the Council, on any matter, from 7.30 pm to 7.40 pm; at 7.40 pm the formal meeting of the Council commences.
Members of the public are not permitted to participate in the formal meeting unless they have complied with the requirements detailed in the item above.
Parish Council Grants
There are still some funds available for small grants to bona fide organisations. Please apply in writing to the Parish Clerk.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Thursday 2nd August 2007, at 7.40 pm, in the Moxon Room, Village Hall. All parishioners are welcome, and are encouraged, to attend.
