Dog Fouling

There is still a lot of dog fouling in the centre of the village, particularly along Darton Road, and Lower Collier Fold. Dog owners/walkers are reminded that apart from being socially unacceptable, it is an offence to permit dogs to foul in public places.

Graves in Cawthorne Cemetery

Recently a number of graves in the cemetery have sunk. The Parish Council has topped these up; however parishioners are reminded that once a grave has been purchased it is the responsibility of the purchasers to maintain the grave.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Thursday 5th February 2009, at 7.40 pm, in the Moxon Room, Village Hall. All parishioners are welcome, and are encouraged to attend at 7.30 pm.
