News: Grant benefits all parishioners

The grant which the parish council gives for the Christmas Calendar of Events benefits all parishioners in Cawthorne as each household receives one. It unites the Parish council with both the Parish and Methodist churches and is probably the one grant that benefits every person in the village.Not only do they receive full details of all services and events that are taking place in both churches and in the community in December and over the Christmas period,but they also receive with the calendar a wonderful Christmas card.
On behalf of both the Churches in Cawthorne I would like to thank the council for this generous grant which they have afforded the village over the past few years and hope that you feel it is a gesture that should be continued.
